[Tournaments-SoD+FreshMod] Favorites, to battle! - 12 - The Battle of Favorites! - 12
Great game, 15 skill points at level 121, and the combat stats were also excellent.
The stables and well near the castle provided both a good early game and helped with controlling the map, as there were no castles on it.
Interestingly, the AI built a Grail in the swamp right from the start and defended with a Cleric with a 1.5 growth rate and 10-10 stats.
This surprised me on the turn timer, although I suspected a Grail based on the income, and Petrovich handled the magic reasonably well at that time.
After the save, there was a turn where I, due to my inattention, missed the portal on this AI's respawn point, which led to the zone with the village where my opponent intended to go.
The next turn, the opponent found the portal and settled in the swamp with the Grail.
Petr had a noticeable stat advantage even before that, and the Grail added 20 to the combat stats, and the Psychics themselves, in a battle in the city, are obviously no match for the Cats.
Then came a long phase where my main goal was to reliably survive with my main hero.
I played with some mistakes, but not critical ones. The advantage in support units gave me freedom.
Formally, we finished on turn 147 in the open field.
Thank you for the games!
Thank you to Petr for the organizational work, and to Quentin for the mod and the tournament!
