Creating a fund to support modders and creators of new maps.
I agree with L'Garold's position.
In general, the idea of paying a specific amount to an author for completing a task within a certain timeframe is not ideal.
I would suggest allocating the collected funds to support contests and tournaments (yes, tournaments for modding), but regarding maps, as I already mentioned to prime79, I'll say that the Remix contest, which had a prize fund, attracted only 6 maps for participation in six months. Moreover, the authors were not asked to start a map from scratch; many were already in the middle of working on a map when the contest was announced. However... there was little interest in voting among the 6 maps (and, by the way, very few people participated in the public vote).
Therefore, I still believe in allocating the fund to tournaments; KillAndAction's opinion on the feasibility of organizing them would be interesting.
