Stella Horst. Today I learned that she was expelled, and I didn't even have time to talk to her and go for a walk, as I had planned. Why is this happening? It's as if higher powers are interfering with me, and if this continues, all that will be left are dull, bellicose types and a minor annoyance. And Stella... she was beautiful, sweet, and bold (in the moments when it was necessary), without any girlish silliness in her head (apparently), and possibly intelligent, if you don't take into account the test results, which say little about a person's real abilities and qualities (just look at the top places on the list). Should I try to find a favorite among those who remain, or switch my attention to the newcomers? There are still three decent options, although only two of them seem possible. Perhaps I'll ask my friends; maybe they'll give me some useful information or advise me on how to approach the hearts of the contenders.
PS, on the bright side: I managed to get out of a bet, probably for good.
