Actually, why do we need them... I, for example, don't need one... I'm fine with a single-core processor.... These processors are needed for hyper-intensive games... but there aren't any well-made ones yet!!!! (sorry for the off-topic)
Just wait until they release the sixth installment of Heroes, and then you'll be begging for a dual-core processor:D ;)
