Nira had always prided herself on her ability to read people well, so those personality types she couldn’t understand evoked a puzzled dislike in her. At first, she naively believed that her classmate was a quiet and modest girl, like Chloe; however, after the April events, she couldn’t shake the feeling that her initial judgment was wrong. After all, who in their right mind would rush to tear a powerful villain to pieces, not to mention all this murky story, when this very “villain” suddenly turned out to be one of the curators? In Futaba’s secrecy, she now saw an incomprehensible, frightening mystery that she couldn’t grasp. Throughout the conversation, Nira anxiously waited for her to smash the painting over someone’s head, or, at worst, attack with a katana drawn. In such a confined space, their pistols would be useless.
Glancing briefly at the painting of Shera, the girl was surprised by Vari’s courage; courage or simply foolish naivety? What prevented her from moving in with Cassia? She herself would definitely have trouble sleeping if she were in her place now. Although, perhaps all the events of today were even for the better: by portraying themselves as rich and silly girls, they earned extra reputation points; and if the scary girl had another fit, the newcomer would take the first hit.
“Well, then, see you in class, Futaba, and I wish us all a successful week of studies, hee-hee.” 😋
