Returning to her seat, Nira thoughtfully stared at the paper with the name of the future representative of the class, after which she decided to take another look at her new companions:
The giantess from another world and the frightening girl were immediately ruled out, followed by the cheerful young Akkiec. She had to think longer about the two remaining candidates: the Taimanian performed better on the exam and made a more attractive impression, but the inventor came from an ancient aristocratic family.
Nira took a closer look at Gideon: correct facial features, neat hairstyle, cold gaze, businesslike appearance, secretive and reserved, but not timid character. He probably did poorly on the exam because there were no technical questions. He will treat his work with due seriousness and responsibility. The downside is that his circle of interests is most likely limited to all sorts of lamps and switches, and he is probably terribly boring and uninteresting in life. A pity, but he is definitely not her type.
Sighing and shaking her head in time with her own thoughts, Nira wrote the name "Gideon".
