Hello everyone.
Perhaps there's a Linux user who has solved a similar problem...
I have Heroes 3 HD+ (not the lobby version) installed on Ubuntu 18.04, and it runs under Wine. I'm having a problem with starting a TCP/IP game.
After entering the game name (and password), I press "OK," the dialog disappears, and I'm kicked back to the main menu.
It used to work, but then it stopped working for some reason. (I've already tried everything:
reinstalling the game, reinstalling Wine (now using version 7, also tried version 3), renaming the DPWSOCKX.DLL file in the directory to DPWSOCKX.DLL.bak...
The firewall is, of course, disabled. It doesn't display any errors, and the console is also empty. The only thing is that it displays the following in the console when I click on "Multiplayer":
03ac:fixme:dpnhupnp: DirectPlayNATHelpCreate (034B1364, 00327824) stub
I would be very grateful for any help.
