Yeah, I was talking about that one.

Although, the remaster is definitely not as good as what everyone was hoping for.
I'm not a big fan of the third game; I only played it out of curiosity, but even I thought their "remaster" was a terrible job.


I mostly agree. But I'll add my two cents. The remaster of the third game can be called a failure because Ubisoft lost the source code for "Armageddon's Blade" and "Breath of Death," meaning they released a heavily cut-down version of the game. At least, that's what the publisher announced as the reason. Fans nicknamed Warcraft Reforged "Refunded." I don't think I need to explain anything further. Nevertheless, in the interest of fairness, I'll note two details: Blizzard recently promised to patch it (news from late March-early April, I hope I'm not mistaken), and modders have recently started working on what Blizzard should have done themselves. The project is called Warcraft Re-Reforged. My position on the remake of the fifth Heroes game is generally as follows: is there a fleeting chance of a re-release of the game? Let's grab onto it. And even if the game has a disastrous start, we'll still have the old, good fifth game to fall back on. Besides, I'm not expecting the developers to do a total overhaul or create an eighth installment. Choosing between two alternatives is always better than having no choice, right?)
