During her stay at the Refitei outpost in the forests of Medivil, (I assume) Ashur managed to persuade Major Animeev Sergei Myslemirovich to release one of his prisoners from custody — namely, the nijka Pizhma, who had been detained because she had snuck in without permission and started a fight with one of the soldiers over, if you will, him harassing her friend. And Pizhma was a great champion of justice and could not allow such a scoundrel's deed to go unpunished. She was released under the pretext that she would never again come within even a centimeter of Refitei military installations or approach its soldiers with aggressive intentions — an oath was extracted from her for this, and a second one she gave to Ashur, swearing to repay him for her rescue through her service.
