I agree with you, but this guy wants what he wants. Ultimately, it's his right.
Besides, Heroes of Might and Magic 5.5 has a very active community and developers (may they continue to support the project as long as people play it).
Personally, I don't like the NHF mod at all. To be more precise: the technical ingenuity is worthy of respect, and I give big kudos to the authors, but as a player, I don't like such an abundance.
There are too many heroes, and you don't have time to get used to them, to play with them.
