I'm trying to access the save files. You need to rename the archive so that the extension is 7z. You can open the archive with the appropriate 7z archiver, and WinRar should also be able to open it. The last save is on day 7, with the Druid standing before the Fortress of Life, but not in the middle of a battle. You can try the final battle yourself. It turned out to be not as difficult as I initially thought.
