They were very strong, but I still managed to get a good center with stats, money, and troops to be able to properly face my opponent.
Strangely, there were no slow units in any of the games, so even Alkin lost troops in the second game. I had to wait for the third game, buy more troops, and after taking back the second central city, I had a full bar.
