How to play the campaigns in the standard version of Heroes of Might and Magic V, specifically the Tribes of the East expansion.

For the Tribes of the East, it could have been made simpler without having to delve into the game files. There's a cheat code to reset skills and abilities.

I don't really want to use cheats...
Although what I'm doing could also be considered cheating...

I don't know what the cheat is for resetting. Does resetting everything mean the hero will have absolutely nothing? The method I used doesn't seem to work for Godric; the map seems to change something for him. And Godric is the most used hero in missions; he's in the first campaign, with Markal, and with Zephyr. I've played through all of this before, but now I want to replay it, go through a new leveling process. Is there a way to "fix" Godric, to remove his diplomacy? By the way, it's strange that he has two skills in the leadership branch, but the leadership school itself is only a basic skill; you can't level it up in the game like that. Leadership should be fully developed.
