Yeah, it's like I'm trying to force someone to read/do something. Wikipedia is just the most basic level, where there's no standard for how deeply a topic is covered, resulting in articles that are only one paragraph long, and these articles are written by who knows who. It's very convenient when you need to quickly find something out, especially about a completely unfamiliar topic, and it's usually not very convenient when you're interested in the details.
And sometimes, everything you do in a hobby is just collecting and processing information.
