just so you know, Death's Hand pierces through the Guard's robe - but I don't know about the resistance, I haven't gotten there yet - it's about a month before the end of the Chaos faction mission.

Iskandirel definitely doesn't have Death's Hand; you'll encounter him in the next scenario. He has a very limited set of spells, but Cold specifically mentioned which spells are mandatory and which can be randomized, so I assume you can't lose against all AI players, because the further you go, the less the enemy army matters. I hope the difficulty isn't too high; at least about 10 beta testers completed an even more brutal version of the campaign on all difficulties except the easiest... But I'm not sure.
