I also noticed something interesting recently. Maybe everyone already knows this, but I just saw it for the first time. Right next to the sakura tree, there are two buildings to the right and left of it, and the one on the right has a window where they give out fortune slips. You even get an achievement for them.

I also randomly pulled another Tomo, by accident. I clicked on the wrong banner, and he dropped.
I collected the achievement with the fortune slips, if I'm not mistaken. This also reminded me that I keep forgetting to finish the cat quests on Seirai Island (another obscure thing that appears after the main storyline). There's a chain of them, and they seem to update every day.
