"Kilgor and Jelu stood a few meters apart. A moment later, they ran towards each other, their swords pulsing with energy. Suddenly, a memory of a prophecy flashed in Jelu's mind. Time seemed to slow down, and Jelu deliberately changed the sword's intended course. Instead of striking from above, he turned the sword and struck from below, deflecting Kilgor's sword attack. Kilgor didn't expect such a maneuver but didn't have time to react. Their swords touched for a moment, and the energy boiling within them seemed to burst outwards. Armageddon's Blade released a stream of flames, while the Ice Blade released an icy flow. A flash of light occurred, and Jelu, with Armageddon's Blade, found himself encased in ice, while Kilgor, barely surviving the fiery vortex, fell to the ground unconscious. The battle ended at that moment. The leaders were quickly carried away from the battlefield. Later, in the medical camp, Jelu came to his senses. He had suffered serious injuries from the cold he had to face, but apparently, his kinship with the High Elves allowed him not only to survive but also to avoid significant health damage. Kilgor was burned by the flames of Armageddon's Blade and was also in poor condition, but miraculously, he was alive. Both commanders couldn't lead their armies, so the war paused. "I almost committed the greatest disaster that could have happened..." Jelu thought to himself, looking at his reflection in Armageddon's Blade."
The plot can be further developed, or it can be left to the players' imagination. It's interesting to end the narrative abruptly or conclude the story of this war and, in principle, end the game's plot, leaving everything beautifully resolved. What do you think of this idea? I've been dissatisfied with the actual plot for a long time, probably mainly because of the destruction of everything I loved in this universe, so I decided to express my thoughts here. Perhaps this plot is closer to me than what the developers came up with.
