Dreams.

I dreamt that Revan decided to lead another expedition in the academy setting, but for some reason, it was a mix between a normal expedition and a computer game. For example, the main gameplay during the challenges involved quickly performing specific actions and keeping a bar at a certain level until time ran out. If the bar was below the required level, the players would face defeat, and if it was above, something unpleasant would happen, such as one of the opponents dying. I remember that in the setting, all the female characters had a "Valkyrie matrix" within them, which allowed them to receive unique bonuses for certain actions in the game. I remember that my character was tall, with silver hair and a voluminous bob. I remember that the female uniform consisted of a white shirt and a long blue skirt, below the knees. Something like Saber's everyday outfit, but with an even longer skirt. I remember that in the first playthrough, I messed up some kind of military tournament and didn't get anything from it. And I also remember that the main antagonists of the setting were mysterious machines, called either "Recombinators" or something similar. They mainly operated through swarms of flying red and black drones. Basically, in the end, my character was defeated by them during an encounter relatively early on and then lay helplessly, indifferently watching the swarms flying over his body, which your characters now had to deal with. But then the players decided to start over (the characters don't change in this case) and deliberately completed the challenges in such a way that the bar overflowed, trying to kill as many NPCs as possible and see what would happen. In one area, even (a peaceful area, outside of a challenge), they somehow managed to trigger a lightning strike, eliminating more than half of the NPCs at once, including some quite important ones. Perhaps my character was also hit by the lightning there, but it's not certain. It was a strange dream, in short.
