It all depends on your version of "Heroes". If you have "The Shadow of Death", you need to add a few files to it, and then random maps will be generated in the editor. But if you have the HD remaster from Ubisoft, it won't work: it's just an upscaled version of "The Restoration of Erathia", where this feature wasn't included.
