Tactics for Rampart.

and again, it's off-topic - but now I'll defend the Swamp faction... I also have the impression that you haven't played as the Swamp...
1) in 9 out of 10 cases, Wyverns are built on the 1st week along with the Stronghold, or even with the Castle...
2) the creatures of the Swamp are not weak, but very strong... just look at the Gorgons... and the Hydras...
3) and I completely disagree with the last point. While Archers are being produced, Wyverns will have already flown to them - and it doesn't matter if there is no mass acceleration....!!!!! so that's it......
by that time, you will have them too - if not earlier. Hydras, if you have Sulfur, are built on not very rich maps on the 2nd week (at worst, the 3rd)......

if you don't believe me, you can check out my last game (saves are available) with Dudgem (as part of the "Seasons" tournament.... he played as the Swamp, and I played as the Rampart... he beat me, even though my stats were better... but it was all decided by the Wyverns and the advantage in his army...
yes, okay, never mind... 4 out of 7 levels have their own magic... and it's very useful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! + the speed of castle development at the start is fast - due to the low resource requirements... only wood and ore=)))

Excuse me for interrupting your lively discussion, it's very interesting to follow your arguments in your favor, especially it's nice that it doesn't go beyond the bounds of decency, no one is resorting (yet) to personal attacks, but it seems to me that you are operating with different categories: while some cite their online experience to support their words, others refer to their personal gaming experience, arguing here is pointless, and you need to sit down and prove each other right - that's what Heroes is for.
And one more point: monsters, orcs, Rukh, and dragonflies - all this is very interesting, but what does it have to do with the topic [DISCUSSION] - Rampart??? Maybe it should be moved to the appropriate topic?:)
