Perhaps, of all the stories about Rutger's ancestors that have been told so far, the story and image of his father appealed to Calentia more than any other. In contrast to Cathar, he was perceived more as a real person, rather than an idealized image smoothed out by the passage of time. Ludwig was strict and reserved, but behind his formidable appearance and reputation lay a big heart, a man ready to stand up for his family. And while Ruphert had superficial similarities with Gungnir, Ludwig was much closer in spirit to the baron. Argalia would not be surprised if it turned out that they were good friends, despite the fact that they were on different sides of the conflict. Calentia also found Ludwig's, in a way, forced growth familiar – it was the difficult events of that time that contributed to the development and flourishing of his talents. Just like in the case of their squad, which has grown significantly in the last few months. It was even a little sad that Rutger's father did not achieve the fame he deserved – such a noble man seemed to Calentia to be a wonderful and inspiring example to follow.
