Roland Carte (plate armor, armed with a bow)
Arnold von Blankenfels (plate armor, armed with a siege bow)
Monica Pfeil (light armor, armed with a bow)
Jakob Male (lightly armored, armed with a crossbow).
Before the competition began, the participants, as tradition dictates, were offered the opportunity to say a few words to each other and shake hands.

Kalentia couldn't help but notice the irony that Reginleif was essentially sending his people to their deaths for an artifact that was supposed to prevent such situations. Although it was hard to deny the value of the Count's new acquisition – it was no wonder the Church wanted to get the "Tear" back.
