I've never played a proper game of D&D, only modified versions created by who knows who, and using different systems. But if you help me understand the rules, I'd be happy to play, because the situation with the people I usually play with is the same as yours, and I want to play.
Unfortunately, I only have d6 dice, because the main system I used is based on d6.
