Renold and Ilva decided to accept Anselm's invitation and went to a restaurant with the other guys. Winning the beauty contest, the duel, and receiving a substantial award were worth it, even if it meant feeling free and well-off for a week or two.
At the restaurant, Ilva ordered a "mint" cocktail. Ren, however, found that one cocktail wasn't enough (apparently, his Elheim habits were kicking in), and, despite his sister's disapproving glances, he added beer to it first, and then some cheap cognac.
