Here's another question: I understand that monsters can gain experience (sergeant stripes), but where do the gold swords come from? I don't know. Please advise.
My advice to you: turn off all these extras; they only create imbalance in the game. I play 3.58 because of the updated editor and monsters.
P.S. I left the commanders. In my opinion, they don't interfere with the game....
