Well, you can play as Swamp even on a small map. And even on a large map, in online games, Swamp is incredibly strong:rolleyes: Believe me!
Secondly, Swamp almost always has magic resistance (which is very often upgraded) - half of the Meteor Shower damage will be negated!
Thirdly, Swamp will often go first (especially in the early and mid-game - thanks to the snakes).
This means that I, for example, will get total speed (level 1!!! notice) - and you simply won't have time to move - I'll destroy half of your army. Then I'll withstand your Meteor Shower (which you might not even have!:) ) I'll withstand it thanks to the resistance and HUGE defense. ;) And then we'll see what you have to say! :)
Plus, Swamp requires a minimum of resources (compared to many Castles) - this means that I'll build up faster than you - I'll have more creatures - my army will be stronger - I'll clear the map faster - my stats will be higher. :) Is that not enough for victory? IMHO, it's enough!
And if there are also snake hives on the random map (and they are very common!) - then the Wyverns are beasts!!! There will be 2-3 times more of them than your level 6 creatures.

2. And you first need to upgrade to total speed - I'll see when you upgrade it, when everyone else already has Explosion, Armageddon, Slow, and so on. Meteor Shower will definitely be there, and if not, there will be something even better. + by that time, upgraded level 7 creatures will already be available...
3. That's right, it requires the fewest resources - some of the worst creatures. If it required a lot of resources...
4. Their Wyverns are easily defeated by level 2 archers from the Castle, or level 4 or 6, not to mention level 7 - Swamp has no chance.

I just don't know how to play as Swamp. There's just nothing good about this Castle, nothing.
