The new journey got off to a bad start from the very beginning — Gungnir sent the group to Illya to carry out some errand for the duke of that province, but upon arriving in the capital they learned that Arnulf von Illya had no need of their services and instead sent them to Mirconia, in case his daughter, Countess Hecate Rivelstein, might require any assistance from them. For this reason, they had to board the train a second time and travel to the neighboring county.
