I want to go to the dungeon, not because I'm so concerned about the fate of this quest, but because I think we can handle it, especially since, besides my lives, we haven't spent anything else. But maybe it really is too big of a risk. We don't know the map and what to expect; maybe there won't be a hiding spot where we can take cover from a musket, or maybe it won't be a musket at all, but something completely awful. Besides, after spending the party's money on a bow, it wouldn't be very pleasant to die... In principle, we can report to the governor not about a complete failure, but about the fact that we investigated this case, and it leads to a dead end. It will be unpleasant, of course, to pause the report at this point, but what can you do? Maybe it's really better to retreat here, even without trying... 😔
