After our date, my companions and I went to see the count of your city. The thing is, we weren’t just visiting your city for fun – our adoptive father, Baron Baldra, gave us the task of finding out something about the girl we found in the forest. Your count turned out to be quite the eccentric – when we came to him, he attacked us, and when Eir (my stepsister, another of the Baron’s wards) easily defeated him, he said he wouldn’t tell us anything unless we found and destroyed the criminal organization called “Lunar Princess.” Since we had no choice, we agreed. Veserod (remember, the bearded man, I used to compete with him in shooting) somehow listened to the spirits, and they told him to go to the lake. It’s a miracle – we dove into the lake and actually found a cave where these bandits were hiding. We killed many of them and freed the prisoners, but unfortunately, their leader managed to escape with a couple of henchmen. The fight was terrible – Veserod himself was wounded by a bullet in the chest and almost died. You may have already heard about this – they say that two female prisoners remained in your city, and another asked us to take her with us. It’s a pity that we couldn’t stop these scoundrels, but I’m glad that we saved at least someone. I think it will take them some time to recover from the blow we dealt them, but you should still be careful and take care of yourself!
