It's been a while since I last visited, and it turns out there's some great content here. I actually suspected that Marlo wouldn't be able to resist and would speedrun Dark Man, because simply completing the map probably wasn't interesting enough for him anymore.

The text is very well-written. All the key episodes are described in detail, and for me, for example, that's more than enough to get a complete understanding of the Walkthrough. You read it, replay it in your head, and it feels like you're watching the Walkthrough live.

There's no need to even talk about the pace here – 3.4.7 is very fast. In my opinion, even if it's possible to complete it faster, I don't think it would be possible to significantly improve this result. Although, perhaps someone from the "old school" speedrunners might be interested? The map really deserves attention, and completing it is a serious challenge even for strong and experienced players.

The report once again confirms the fact that the map can be completed in different ways. There are, of course, local objectives: capturing or visiting important locations, visiting tents, obtaining keys, etc., but to achieve them, you can go either to the right or to the left, so to speak. And that's great. The fact that the AI opponents run around freely here, constantly exchanging armies and artifacts, also adds variety to the Walkthrough. As a result, each Walkthrough becomes different from the others and is unique in its own way. This, in my opinion, is another major plus of this already extraordinary map.

And, by the way, this map is currently being played by the Danish streamer haloneya. He's been playing for 2 months (started the Walkthrough back in April), has recorded 17 streams, and is still struggling with the third week. That's what's up. Apparently, he decided to speedrun it too. biggrin
