In general, I still didn't understand the explanation. But, in my opinion, they are just trees, not fir or pine...

I meant that wild Ents have foliage like fir, pine, or spruce, in general, like coniferous trees, but when wild Ents are attacked, yellow leaves somehow fly off them.
