Why offer it when you can just do it? Make an alternative version and upload it to the forum. The modding community for Mount and Blade does this, and these mods are called "submods." Sometimes, this results in truly amazing projects like TLD and TLD Overhaul – the first focuses on the scenario, while the second adds armor in the style of the movies on top of the TLD mod.
