-- Very well, -- "Felicia" didn't argue and took an elegant fighting stance with her weapon, waiting for her opponent to strike first. She didn't take her shield, but a keen observer could notice sparks from her aura of spiritual protection.
Her interlocutor, "Rika," chose not words but action as her response – grabbing her spear more comfortably, the girl rushed into the attack. Felicia's spiritual shield stopped the attack, but her opponent didn't relent. Steel rang, sparks from the spears flew around the rivals, whirling around the stage in a dance of death. Although Gulveig and Kalentia didn't aim to harm each other, both warriors used their skills to make the duel equally believable and spectacular, sometimes clashing their spears and exchanging a phrase or two. But, as in reality, at one point their duel came to an end – the queen of Lungwort defeated the inquisitor sent to her country, and the latter, breathing heavily and kneeling on one knee, looked at the victor, and her gaze expressed her dislike for her.
