The works of Gunngir's students pleased Philip so much that he even gave them all a bonus (+25) in addition to the main reward. The man was confident that these comments would interest the readers of the "Chronicles" and make Baldr a more attractive place for tourists. Or maybe he was just glad that after two weeks of waiting, someone finally responded to his request.
On February twentieth, Virgil said goodbye to the city's residents and his students, sharing words of wisdom with the latter (Gulveig +3 to Faith, +3 to Endurance) before leaving with Theodahad Bors to Marion. The knight himself, for reasons known only to him, thanked Gulveig for the tour and the "right decision," giving her an accessory he had purchased earlier as a farewell gift (Gulveig + "pazori").
Heavy rains fell at the end of February and the beginning of March, so Gunngir's first assignment had to be postponed. Nevertheless, this event was inevitable: on the seventh day of the new month, all adult students of Gunngir, with the exception of Shino and Daniel, were gathered in the southern part of the city and soon sent to Tamfana with the task of persuading the ruler of these lands to help in the search for the origin of Yua.
Tamfana
The capital of the County of Tamfana, with the same name, is one of the largest cities in Eugean and, moreover, is currently the political center of this province. According to the tradition that has developed after the war, a representative of Eugean is elected from among the counts or vicounts of Eugean by the votes of other aristocratic landowners of this province. Today, the leader of Eugean was Leon Julius Lunge, a descendant of the warrior Nakiri, who received land from King Albert as a reward for his bravery in the war.
Compared to Baldr, Tamfana seemed very bustling, noisy, and even dirty. The inhabitants moved through the streets of the city in crowds, like ants in an anthill, stopped to do their business, and continued on their way, not allowing the stone roads to rest from the trampling of their feet. Here and there, smoke from numerous workshops could be seen, and the sounds of clanging steel and loud voices could be heard all around. For Gunngir's students, who were accustomed to the slow pace of Baldr, such a change could be both exciting and interesting, as well as confusing and frightening.
Since their time in this city was limited, it was decided that the travelers would limit themselves to one district of the city. Veserod's mental health is halved (but he gets +200 selics from sheep).
