Mifune Sachiko Place of birth: Mirai. Date of birth: 03/01/176 Sachiko was born at the very beginning of spring in the Year of the Lyre, after the end of the war between her homeland and the Church of Arteria, supported by its allied nations of Western Vesteria. The Mifune couple, who embraced the teachings of Arterian missionaries, raised their children, a daughter and two sons, according to the religious and moral precepts of the church, and therefore their values differed significantly from the majority of the population of this region, which eventually forced them to move to continental Vesteria – to Shengkai, which had become an empire in those years. Sachiko was a golden child, loved by everyone, both her parents and neighbors, and her younger brothers tried with fanatical jealousy to drive away her numerous suitors and male acquaintances. But, of course, all this was just a game, and, in general, after moving to Shengkai, Sachiko and her family did not experience any serious hardships – they lived modestly and worked hard, but there was harmony in the family, and there was hope for the future. Over the years, the neighbors began to call Sachiko an angel, for her patience, understanding, and extraordinary wisdom for her young age. The idyllic, but uneventful, life of Mifune Sachiko came to an end in February 199, which was the Year of the Hero. One day in the last month of winter, a stigma appeared on her body, forever changing her destiny. Seeking help from church healers, her parents had to learn that Arteria had chosen their daughter for a divine mission. And although this event should have filled the family of righteous Arterians with pride, no one was happy about it... Due to the nature of Sachiko's stigma, she not only outlived every member of her family, but also repeatedly watched as her sisters, other Valkyries whose life spans were coming to an end, one after another, left this world forever. Those who are familiar with this Valkyrie speak of her as the warmest person with the most beautiful soul they have ever met, but no one knows what is really happening in that soul. After the war with the Northerners, Sachiko remained the only surviving Valkyrie, and largely thanks to her efforts, the church was able to survive after the colossal losses it suffered in the war. During the Arterian Schism, Sachiko led and coordinated the actions of Regnleyv and the Church, playing a significant role in the victory over the cultists of Moenia and Shafran, but this conflict became another deep scar on the Valkyrie's soul. Her sisters, Nier Civilla, Arkesia Lao, Sasahara Kana, Aurelia Skadi, Yuna, Teresa Aiz, and Argireia Richelieu, gave their lives in the war, while Cornelia Verben lost her spirit and disgraced her legacy by executing the then Queen of Regnleyv, Josephine Fenhel, with her own hands. After this war, Sachiko almost ceased to appear in public, and her role in the life of the church remains unknown. Stigma: Everblooming Vesteria Sachiko's divine power makes her immortal. Effect of reading the book: 20% chance to survive a lethal attack (remains with 1 health point). |
