And when Virgil suggested that one of them, along with Gulveig, give his companion a tour of Baldur, she gave her friend the opportunity to respond first – Gulveig was surely interested in both learning about her mentor's friend and, perhaps, discussing with him things that are known only to those who are well acquainted with Virgil. For a similar reason, the girl did not offer to help her friend – certain things might be awkward to discuss in the presence of someone who was not familiar with them. Therefore, when Gulveig began to fulfill the task assigned to her by her mentor, Kalentia decided to go to Hans's house and find out from the former Landsknecht more about what kind of training he planned to conduct.
