No matter how large and dangerous the golem appeared, it was clearly no match for the students of Gungnir. Unable to focus its attention on a single target, the stone giant turned from one side to the other, targeting whoever was closest, rather than the one who posed the greatest threat. And, having felt the full force of the enemy's attacks just once, Kalentia thanked Arterius for his slowness on more than one occasion – a couple more hits like that would surely have left nothing but a wet spot where she had been. It was terrifying to think what would have happened to someone like Shino or Daniel. But, fortunately, the golem only troubled them with its presence, and so the witch's magic and the young man's enchanted bolts quickly dealt with the machine. The battle turned out to be easier than one might have thought.
“Well done,” concluded the Argalian, examining the now motionless pile of stones, “I didn’t think we would deal with it so quickly.”
