“Thank you for your help,” Kalentia said to her friend after the sparring session.
Sitting down on a bench, she took off the boots she had received from Norbert, putting her old ones back on, and noticed that the battle, either on its own or in combination with other tests, had not left them completely unscathed – they hadn’t fallen apart, but the soles were cracked in some places. However, this wasn’t a particular surprise for the Argalian; Norbert was renowned for the reliability of his equipment. Therefore, if the craftsman had any suspicions that his creation might not meet certain standards, there had to be good reason for it. It was a bit of a pity, as otherwise, the boots made by Norbert seemed quite comfortable to the girl, but there was nothing she could do about it. Perhaps she would have even bought them if she had any extra money. But for now, she would have to wait until the creator improved their design.
“By the way…” Kalentia finished examining the boots and was about to turn her attention back to Gulveig, but she noticed that Eir, whom she had already forgotten about during the sparring session, was still in the training hall. “…although, wait a minute, Eir might also be interested.” The Argalian paused, turned her head towards the Grimwald warrior, and, taking a deep breath, shouted, “Hey, Eir, would you be interested in hunting a golem?!”
