Sithian magic inside, Sithian magic outside, but even with the combined efforts of Canamia, Swordgard, Olivus, Silverdawn, the archipelago, the heroes' village, other minor regions, and say, Florenzan, it's not a given we'll beat Revnland, Stratos, and the Knight of Friendship. Not to mention other potential enemies like Albus and the monsters of Regret.

Renovan's goal isn't to unite Tezoth so everyone lives in peace and harmony. He, along with his squeeze, is trying to turn the continent into one big Sithian pig farm. During his reign he had that opportunity, but he turned down their queen because he thought it was a dick move. Then he lived a life, found a squeeze more pleasant than the main Sithian lady, did the math, and after a few years, like in that meme with the cat and the clock, decided: it's time.
Judging by what Lordka told Astral, Renovan already came to the granddaughter and was firmly and clearly told to get lost. For which the legitimate Deus gets respect, love, and honor.
Overall, of course, Canamia's situation is still pretty rough, partly due to the consequences of the restrictions Cartridge imposed. On the other hand, if we unlock all the Knights (or almost all of them, since picking a fight with Florenzan is an extremely bad idea), the picture will most likely improve.
