Moving a bit further, the expeditionary squad stumbles upon unknown creatures. Their flesh was red in color, wings were visible on their backs which allowed them to fly, and they were slightly smaller than an average human. - Why are you so red, burning with shame? - Odlid asks the strangers. - Is it because you forgot your clothes at home! - Tsatsatsatsa, - the creatures replied to him. Thanks to Adalard's lectures, Stefania can understand that what stood before them were NOT ivlai.
— Did our lord ever tell you anything about such red flying fanged fellows? — Stefania addressed Eugene directly. — Because these guys don't resemble anything described. And most importantly, can you use your eye of that sordka on them?
In Adalard Grimm's descriptions, only the ivlai had wings. Not to mention that no one with red skin appeared in his stories either. Accordingly, these creatures represented some separate species. This only made them seem more dangerous.
- I think we should first try to kill them, and we'll figure things out afterwards. - Apparently, these creatures were also unfamiliar to the Knight of the Rusting Soul. For using the supernatural eye, the flyers were a bit too far away.
— Well, there's no turning back, and clearly we won't be able to negotiate with these red-mugs. I'm not in the mood to try negotiating with creatures that can't string two words together for a conversation. I have no desire to die here, so let's kick some red asses. And if we manage it, we'll blow them up too.
I'm starting the battle. Can I not influence the positioning in any way? Who moves first there? Can I approach with Eugene and use the explosion? How many tiles up are they in the air?
