Traveling a bit further, the expeditionary detachment comes across unknown creatures. Their flesh was red in color, wings were visible on their backs with which they could fly, and they were slightly smaller than an average human. - Why are you so red, burning with shame? - Odlid asks the strangers. - It's because you forgot your clothes at home! - Tsatsatsatsa, - the creatures replied to him. Thanks to Adalard's lectures, Stefania can understand that what stood before them were NOT ivilians.
— Did our lord ever tell you anything about these red flying fanged comrades of ours? — Stefania addressed Eugene directly. — Because these guys don't resemble anything that was described. And most importantly, can you use that eye of yours, of that sort, on them?
In Adalard Grimm's descriptions, only ivilians had wings. Not to mention that no one with red skin appeared in his stories either. Accordingly, these creatures represented some separate species. That made them seem only more dangerous.
- I think we should first try to kill them, and we'll figure things out afterwards. - Apparently, these creatures were unfamiliar to the Knight of the Rusting Soul as well. For using the supernatural eye, the flyers were a bit too far away.
— Well, there's no turning back, and clearly we won't be able to negotiate with these red-faced ones. I have no mood to try negotiating with creatures that can't string two words together for a conversation. I have no desire to die here, so let's kick some red asses. And if we manage, we'll blow them up too.
I'm starting the battle. Can I not influence the positioning in any way? Who moves first there? Can I approach with Eugene and use explosion?
