Sounds like too obvious a self-repeat. In this expedition we already have a heel faction causing enormous harm to all of Tezoth. I believe things are more complicated with Deus. Yes, it's more than likely that the Sithian wants to become empress and thus elevate herself to top-2 in her people, but does Deus even care about the Sithian queen? Maybe the pair wants to sever ties with Sithia entirely and build their own empire that belongs only to the two of them.

Maybe Renavan really isn't just a heel, but a cunning psychopath-manipulator. But even so, the Sith cannot be used to your advantage. If it seems they are helping, it's merely an illusion. Look at Heroist. He's immune to control, but he's already starting to turn into a Sith pet. It's barely noticeable now, but the corruption spreads slowly, step by step, thought by thought. There are no shades of gray here. It's extremely simple: destroy the Sith or he will destroy you. And it's not that we are cruel and thirst for bloodshed, not that we dislike firm Sithian buns and melons. It's that they left us no other choice. But unfortunately, seeing how deeply they've thrust their nimble little hands into Tezoth's pants — there's almost no chance. So I can understand your desire to be a house pet rather than food.
