— Hello, Carmina, — Stefania smiled. — Same as everyone: wandering through the underground, slowly getting freaked out by what's happening, wondering who lives here and how soon we'll end up on their dinner table. On the other hand, so much room for ideas!
The Knight of the Haze knew well about Wind's passion for writing, and from the expression on her companion's face, she could easily guess that she was mulling over ideas for another story. Though the question is, if they don't get out, who will read it?
— Ah, forget it, — the girl, who had briefly drifted into her thoughts, waved it off. — So, how are you?
- Hmm, hmm-m-m... That one-eyed cutie once mentioned that in Ikazkan, lava rivers flow right through the middle of the city; I'd like to see them with at least one eye, and I think they could inspire you to write something like that too. I'm fine, I've already accepted that either we'll conquer the underworld, or it won't leave us alive.
What Stefania heard didn't inspire her. Rather, the opposite — the girl just grimaced:
— I'm afraid I can't share your craving for lava rivers. Zephyr and I prefer the open sky. But your optimistic attitude is also nice to see!
If the Haze has nothing else to say, I'll move on to the third on the list.
