"— Or he was paid many times more by those who benefit from getting rid of Lord Adalard and his best fighters on the surface," Stefania suggested. "That one-eyed man is just strange, honestly. You know we took him and some odd young lady along to Deus's birthday party? For all the time I managed to observe him, he didn't seem to do anything out of the ordinary, yet at the same time he easily wrapped our young lord around his finger. Aldelion Grimm literally hung on his every word during their conversations. In any case, I disliked him from the start. But who are we to argue with the lord's decisions?.."
- Ha-hah! The young lord's situation is quite tragic. Having met with a lack of understanding in the eyes of those around him, especially those closest to him, he was surely waiting for someone he could open up to and chat with without filters, so it's no surprise that such a neutral person in his life fulfilled exactly that role for him. With all due respect to His Genius, he made a mistake in raising his son — discipline without love will not bear good fruit.
