- I believe that the most important task is to protect Florenzan and his people. To this end, we should put the troops on the border on alert and, in the meantime, find out what our neighbors think about what happened. Perhaps we can cooperate with them and organize a joint defense against possible external threats. And of course, we need to contact the capital.
- Yes. It wouldn't be bad to find out what's happening in the capital right now... - agreed the Knight of Justice.
In a sense, the Knights of Righteousness, the Golden Tower, and Discipline were the closest associates of Lord Gitgood Flaveresence. The heir, though he trusted him completely, was still too headstrong, and it was sometimes difficult to get through to him. The Knights of Imperialism and the Impassive Face were busy with numerous regional and personal projects. The Knight of Aromatic Cupcakes had distanced herself from the lord's family in recent years — poor soul, Gitgood knew what troubled the young woman's heart so deeply, but he could do nothing to help her. The Knight of Black Steel, in between assignments, wandered the continent and was unavailable. Therefore, at today's council, Emilia and Orvald were the first to offer their ears and voices in service to the ruler of their region. Nevertheless, as the clock hand moved, the lord's hall gradually filled with new people — knights and their retinues. The only one not allowed to attend this meeting was a northern woman named Murmur — although the lord bore no personal animosity toward her, he decided to err on the side of caution.
Special attention was drawn by the spouse of the Knight of Spiritual Wealth and the young son of the Knight of the Impassive Face.
The first, for her provocative appearance and lack of manners. The second, because the young man had returned to Florenzan for the first time after completing his studies in Albus. If he had left this region even a day later, he would not be here now.
- Long time no see, my lord Orvald, my lady Emilia. - said the heir to Justice and the Tower. - It is heartening to see that the golden gleam has not yet left your eyes!
