I think Staff would find something like incubi with elves more interesting.

Well, in Izkazan there are elms, which are essentially lone-wolf elves with a magic focus. But they're far from romantic, and throughout the entire exp we've met exactly three of them, not counting Nebka's character. And out of those three, two died immediately.
