A couple more questions:

1) Do I need to review non-combat skills as well?

2) This spell:

- Magic Channel: establishes a connection with one's own home or another location to move items from there into one's inventory

Is the character aware of what items are at their home, and if something new appears there, will they know?

Yes.

Partially. If someone brings you a bomb or fruit, there will be no mental notification of that fact.
