Yes, a pressing question. It will surely divide the people of Sordgard even more than the death of the lord who never managed to name his heiress.
– Look, Adata! – Rezara took her friend's hand in hers. – The returned Deus, during his reign, did not bring Tezoth a single step closer to greatness, but he succeeded in unraveling the mysteries of the universe. He sought immortality and even dealt with the Sith! Our world is full of oddities. Therefore, perhaps we truly are facing the real Deus. There is a chance. But! It is still slim. We are more vulnerable now than ever, and the Sith have yet to make a move. As have the monsters of regret. Deus could easily turn out to be a Sith or a new perfect creation of the crater. If he wants Sordgard's support, he will have to prove his identity. But how? None of us has ever seen this man or spoken with him. We cannot afford to be hasty here. Deus must be tested. As for his words... I must admit, I find them reasonable. Especially after recent events.
Rezara kept silent for now on the matter of choosing between the old and the new Deus. There was already plenty on her plate.
- Your mind, Rezara, is as sharp as ever and cuts straight to the core, but there is one important nuance - if Emsia or Nosi accept his offer first, there is a good chance that one of them will leave me behind... And that I simply cannot allow.
