- Friends, a week has passed since the mysterious explosion, and the situation at this point is more than dire. - The Knight council, headed by Deus herself, was led by Yin. - We have not been able to determine the causes of what happened, but the loss of Albus and the fall of the City of the Sun are undeniable facts that we all must acknowledge. Faiirium and Gemstone have been completely destroyed, while the inhabitants of other cities in this region have fallen victim to a mysterious illness that robs them of their minds and transforms their bodies — they are aggressive but poorly organized, which allows the border regions to maintain quarantine without significant loss of life. The bad news is that we have spent a great many resources containing this problem, and at present a significant portion of our military force is outside the capital, while from the south an unexpected enemy in the person of Estellia is advancing upon us. Nine knights of that country have been killed, the lord is ill, and the region is being led by my lord Lyon Vermgrays... Comrades, I think it would greatly help us to gather our thoughts in one basket. Do you have any theories about what happened?
Today, Lester could notice on Deus's body the jewelry he had given her three months ago.
In addition to Yin, Axel, Lester, and Ambrose, the following were also present at the meeting:
My lord Ashrad, Knight of the Blinding Radiance from Azumi.
My lord Banshee Teston, Knight of the Paradox from Grimgale.
- Hoo, Lester, why did you go and cut down the knights of Asalia? Feeling too confident after your tournament victory?
My lord Corry Malaxiphon, Knight of the Clear Skies from Densec.
- I smell the stench of the Bloodsucker behind these events. We should have executed her while we had the chance.
My lord Georgie Massaleo, Knight of the Solemn Feast from Albus.
- Now, now, let's not jump to conclusions, my lord Corry! - The Knight of the Solemn Feast owned his own bar in the capital, where he spent his free time. Today he treated his comrades and Deus to non-alcoholic drinks. - This artificial sun doesn't seem like the work of human hands.
