Well, if Ferlyuts were to throw a nail at Stefania right now, that would definitely be an abuse of the mechanic against the player.
I'm not saying "YASHCHUR DON'T YOU DARE 😡" — I'm saying that no one has seen the preemptive attack mechanic in battle yet. This guy has only been hitting mounts. And now he'd suddenly change his behavior script, even though Stefania has never shown she can use a preemptive attack or how it could be exploited against her. In short, Yashchur can, of course.
